Quick drying, clear, natural primer made exclusively from natural raw materials including a combination of shellac and resins, dissolved in alcohol. It has excellent isolating properties against water-soluble efflorescing stains that, when coated with water-based wall paints or plasters, produce discoloration and bleeding. When completely dry, AGLAIA Shellac Isolating Primer is waterproof and sealing. Suitable for isolating stains resulting from water, corrosion, nicotine, tar and soot stains, on all coatable surfaces indoors such as plaster, wood based materials or wall papers. Especially suitable for small-area, spot repairs. For full surface isolation, AGLAIA Insulating White is recommended [see below]. When used carefully and properly thinned using AGLAIA Fermentation Alchohol [see Woodcare / Cleaners and Thinners section], also to be used as a shellac furniture polish.

White-pigmented primer for indoor use, especially for full-surface insulation of water, corrosion, nicotine and soot stains as well as efflorescing substances. AGLAIA Isolating White is used as a primer for isolating stains on all coatable wall and ceiling surfaces indoors. Also useful for sealing wood based materials (e.g. chipboards), previously primed with AGLAIA Penetrating Primer. Subsequent treatment can be with AGLAIA wall paints and / or natural resin or fiber plasters. The smooth, white-pigmented surface of Isolating White allows particularly economic application of AGLAIA Roll on Plaster or AGLAIA Renovation Plaster [see Plaster section]. AGLAIA Isolating White has been designed especially for full-surface coating of efflorescing surfaces. For isolating individual water or soot stains, AGLAIA Shellac Isolating Primer (see above) may be used as an alternative.
