AURO 117 Special Primer is recommended for use on woods rich in tannins, such as oak, chestnut and cherry. This product can also be used as a primer for the water based wood finishes.
The alternative, AURO 127 water based primer, is not recommended for use on woods rich in tannins, such as oak, chestnut and cherry – as drying times will be extended. 117 Special Primer, which contains some citrus solvent, is recommended in these circumstances.
