Auro

Auro are unusual in their environmental credentials. For example, much of the ingredients derived from plants that are used in their products are organically grown close to the factory and any waste product and excess paint is composted. The factory is also run on renewable energy.

Auro products are based on natural ingredients including plant oils such as orange, eucalypyus and rosemary. Auro wood finishes are micro-porous so they don’t flake, peel or blister and are easily maintainable. Auro's use of natural and plant based ingredients means that allergy sufferers and people who are chemically sensitive are more able to tolerate their products.

Perhaps it is not surprising, then, that in 2003 Auro was voted ‘Favourite Ethical (DIY) Product’ by readers of ‘Ethical Consumer’ Magazine!  Several Auro products have also been recommended by the stringent German environmental ‘Oko Test’ Magazine.

Aglaia and Beeck
